Default 250 Raptor making noise

I am the only owner of my 2008 Raptor 250 SE. When I let my brother ride it, I can't hear anything but the exhaust but when I ride it, there's a sound coming from below me. Either the chain or the engine. It sounds kinda higher-pitched and like metal rubbing on metal.

Is that just a combination of me worrying and my chain or is there a problem.

What my main concern is: what sound does your engine make when it has dirt/dust in the combustion chamber?

Thanks.

Boom!

The noise you are hearing is the chain sliding over the chain guide. It is normal, and on the Raptor 250 is is really quite loud, because the ATV itself is so quiet otherwise. Enjoy your Raptor.
