Hard to start in cold weather
#1
Well, It is now march 1, I made it through the winter wit hthe griz 700 cold starting problems.
I started out this year with regular oil and i kept havingcold starting problems. It would chug and sound like it is running but wouldn't be. Or it wouldn't turn over fast enough to start it.
I went to my dealer and they said yamaha came out with a new Synthetic oil that was supose to help with cold weather and all season. I told them I would try it last week we had weather at -32 deg F. I went to start the Griz and it turned over fine and started. It was a record cold temp.
If you were having problems with the cold start Oil is the main cause of it.
