Default First ride on new SP 500 Touring

Just had a blast breaking in the new 500 EFI Touring. Took it out on Lake Winnebago (WI for those not in the know). They set up some ice tracks, plow a bunch of snow into a sort of obstacle course, have trails (all flat) mind you. It was amazing. I was beginning to think I'd gone off the deep end with bike and trailer and helmet and goggles and gas and gloves and etc. etc., but now I'm hooked. Will post some picks after I get my damn POS camera charged up.

Must say, I LOVE the Carry On trailer. Easy load, light, but stable (relatively) with the bike on.

This kicks a$$...

jam53142, sounds like you had fun with your new sportsman touring. Polaris has great machines. Hope you get some pic up for us to see. First accessories I would get is the f and r rack extenders, bumpers and Warn 2500XT winch.

Congrads on the new quad. The sportsman 500 motor has been one of the most reliable motors ever built. Post some pics when you get a chance.

Congrats, Jam. Lots of fun riding the quads on the ice. Try an AWD donut when you have some time. Put it in AWD from a stop, jam the handlebars one direction and floor it. It will swap end to end for as long as you can hold it. I've had lots of fun with ours and know you'll enjoy yours. Wait til you get to go through some deep mud/waterholes. You'll truly be impressed. And the Popos claw up rocks with the best of them.
