i have an '06 polaris hawkeye 300 and one of my headlights internally broke, so yes i know for certain it is the bulb and not any wires. i need to know which bulbs to buy for it. can someone help me out please? if i can, i want to get one at an autoparts store or something general like that, not online or ordered. please help!

 

I was at a walmart and saw motorsports bulbs (special pack) I believe they were H4. see if you can take whats left of the bulb with you to compare

 

i cant take it, i have it at my vacation house which i am going to this weekend to go and work on it. can you give me the requirements or specifications of the bulbs that i would need to buy? thanks for the help

 

I know in the older Polaris models, there wasn't a replacement bulb you could just go buy. Had to get them from the dealer.

I'd go by Walmart and get a pack of the ones Miniexcavator was talking about, then go by a Polaris dealer and see what they had in stock. If they match up, just use the cheaper (they will be) Walmart bulb. If not, buy what the dealer has and take the others back to Walmart.

 

It was a one bulb pack for 10 bucks
