is a honda 400ex with a 440 big bore kit beat a honda 450r please answer back

fully race built 440 vs STOCK 450r. The 440 would win

 

when they are built right (ive seen some that were not impressive at all), ive seen it happen...and i own a 450R.

 

i raced one when my trx450 was stock and i killed it. a better rider prob would have helped the 440 though

 

The 450s sport ATVs motors are derived from the race ready 450 motors found in motocross bike,they have high compression ratios and the short skirt high rpm pistons, its more than just about larger cc that it has over the more recreational oriented 400ex.

A CR 450 will beat a XR650 in a drag race.

 

Ok boys I have a 440ex with a stage 2 cam port and ploshied head with a smaller gear on the back I have not found anything that beats it on a 300 feet strip... If u can beat the 440 then the bike needs a new rider.. By the whey I have 2500 just in the motor.. Have title will travel to to take your title.... I also own a 07 rappy se the 440 wins every time..

 

Yeah, i dont think these people have actually seen a fully race built 400ex can do. My buddy had a 426 12:1 compression , web cam, , +1 valves, ported and polished etc etc. and it would beat piped 450r's and yfz's in 300ft.

 

radical race or serious dune preped 400's can really go. Especialy with a good carb, but really isnt going to stand a chance aginst a mild 450

 

I have beat 450s with pipes boxes and intakes and geared down. The only thing that has ever beaten me was another 440..
