Default Sp 500 trouble

Ok guys I have a sp 500 06. As i posted a while back it wont start with key. I replaced the starter and bendix about a month ago. I rode it the other weekend went to start it and all it does is make a pop or clicking noise. So i figure it was the started relay. Also about 6 months ago I replaced the ecm. Hooked up another ecm to see if that was it. its not any ideas is there a fuse somewhere. I find it hard to believe that the new starter has already went. Please help. I am beging to think I got a lemon.

did you try to by pass the solnoide already to make sure its the starter? if the starters clicking then it wouldnt be a fuse as it would be getting power.

Well I haven't tried to bypass the solnoide, I put a new solnoide in this morning. The popping noise is coming from the solnoide. It not even trying to turn over.

check the battery for full charge and by pass the new solnoide and if nothing happens, time to take out the starter again or make sure you have got good connection or something is not jamming the starter gear.

Check the terminal on the starter end of the battery cable. I see them break in two once in a while.

Make sure you have clean tight connections on the battery posts, solenoid and starter. Like Stendori said make sure the battery charged and is reading 12- 12.6V with the machine off using a VOM.

make sure you check all the connections first. while the key is on the ON poision, not the start, take a heavy wire or 2 long handle screw drivers and jump the 2 big termails on the solnoide w/out touching anything else. if the starter turns over the bike then the solnoide is bad and if it doesnt chances are the solnoide if fine and something wrong w/ the starter. as long as you have at least 12 volts in the battery, the recoil(pull starter) will start the bike w/out any problems and keep it running.
