my neighbor that i met a few weeks ago claims that he can outrun my quad in a drag race, he probably thinks he can walk on water too. i know i should race him and get it over with but i wanna see what yall think, heres what i know about his quad so far.

smaller sprocket on back
bald tires. ( or as he calls them, his RACING SLICKS)

he wants me to race him for fifty bucks. now hes only 15, but he has a big ego and an even bigger mouth. i think i could stomp him but i wanna hear what yall think. ide be racing him with my outlaw.

 

I would bet quads

 

LOL. Not even close. Tell him 500 cause its a waste of your time. Race him and then tell him to shut his mouth and get a new quad..LOL

 

he said that warrior would do 80, yeah right, mabye in the back of a truck. im gonna race him in about 30 mins. how fast would my quad go? i never clocked it.

 

70-75 stock. rejetted 75-80. It dont matter though. You will own him. remember, ktm motor likes to be short shifted!!

 

im gonna try to get him to double his money. it will buy me lunch at work for the next 3 weeks. besides he has more horse power in his mouth then he does in his quad, his big brother has an old zilla, ive already raced him and got creamed. but if this kid thinks hes gonna outrun me then he better have a back up plan.

 

Not a chance in hell he will win. My Warrior, with a .040 over high comp piston, port and polish, web camshaft, full hmf exhaust, so on so forth, full details listed in My Page (click the little cam) won't stand a chance against a Suzuki LTZ 400, let alone an Outlaw (or its predecessor, the Predator)

 

So how did the race turn out, as if we don't know?

 

i just raced him, i beat him, i even got him to double his money before the race. it was a good 500 foot strip we raced on. i even accidently slipped into neutral and stayed infront of him the whole time. he claimed that he couldnt get it into 6th gear and that if he did i would had to punch my throttle, i just said whatever. and then i thanked him for buying my lunch for the rest of the week. LOL

 

Ahh yes, a fool and his money are soon parted.
