I'm looking for heel guards for my 400. Anyone have suggestions? The guy I got the quad from removed the stockers when he installed the AC nerf bars. I'm looking at the Tusk heel guards but I'm not sure if they will fit with my current nerf bars. Does anyone know if they will? Any help would be appreciated.

 

You can get some cheap stock heel guards on ebay.

 

or you could go with new proarmor nurf that come with heel gaurds on them! nah but seriously ebay is your way to go!

 

Heel guards are one thing I never felt like I ever needed. My nerf bars go back far enough that there isn't sufficient room to get my MX booted foot between the bars and the tire anyway, so this is something I am willing to live without....and I think they usually look pretty lame.

It is so funny that the manufacturers are now putting on heel guards (presumably for liability), yet they don't put on nerf bars which are way more important!

 

Thanks for the input everyone. I have the stock plastic heel guards but not the metal support for them so maybe I'll just do the ebay thing and pick up what I need.

I kind of like the look of the Tusk guards though but I'm not sure if they will work.
