Default Looking for rack seat that has the arm rests

I have the 08 Sportsman 500 EFI, I bought the polaris box with the back rest, so my wife could have back support. But with that I don't have much room. I have seen some pics on here where some have a seat that is on the rack and has arm rests, and looks like you can put stuff in them. Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these ? And does it use the polaris quick latch system?

Tamarack makes a seat-style box that will go great with the Polaris racks. The Tamarack Classic Lounger is an awesome seat with storage AND WILL FIT ON THE POLARIS LOCK AND RIDE RACKS. You need to get a Polaris Anchor Kit from your Polaris parts dept (#2875325) along with an L Bracket you can find at your local hardware store. You should be able to mount the anchor kit to the Lounger so the Lounger is now able to lock into the Polaris rack. It is the only Tamarack Lounger style that will work (the Titan loungers do not have the right dimensions on the bottom). OR you can also hard mount the box--you just need to drill additional holes in your rack and get longer u bolts--you can wing nut them for easier on and off, too. If you are going to hard mount it check out the Titan Deluxe Lounger--the grand-daddy of comfort!!! So you get an awesome quality box, storage, and a comfortable seat for your wife! What more could a guy want?! Good Luck!!

Thanks Caper... I really like this forum. Your back seat looks sweet. I can't believe it matches your sporty. Does it also use the polaris anchor kit? And you are right... not hardly any snow here. Last Friday week was the first snow fall i had in my area, the deepest by house was two inches and it lasted only one day. I really wish we got at least a foot a year.

Thanks ..........I could have used the Pure Polaris anchor mounts......But the seat came with u-bolt and spin on wing nuts..........Which I used ....Also hook up the tail/brake light that is with the rear seat!!
Has locking lids too!!

The two sides lift up for lots more starage along with my front storage I have more than enough room!!

The rear seat will also hold two one gallon gas cans!!!........Just to let you know!!!!

Yeah, saw the gas can. I am checking it out now, it is cheaper than my polaris box w/ backrest. I wish I would have seen this first. My Polaris box will still be nice when my wife doesn't go with me. Does your wife say that is a comfortable ride ? And how does it feel with her riding back there going up hills ? My wife is pretty thin so I am hoping that it won't feel like it wants to flip.

My wife don't ride there............She has the Yellow one next to my blue one in the pics............I bought it for storage and my daugher (9 years old) goes with me the odd time........But she now has a 150cc auto with reverse...........So the box is all mine now I guess!!!!....LOL...LOL......Caper........

With my daughter on the back I can't really notice any differance really!!!....But a child and adult will act different just due to weight. Some Quads (IRS) in the rear I see on the Rallys they due tend to "SQUAT" in the suspension!!!.........Mostly with two large adults!!!........You should be fine!!!!......It still a better ride than the stright axle I would say!!!!!!........Caper..............
