i was just wondering if anyone could help me with this. My friend and I both bought 2000 Kodiaks- at about the same time-4 months ago. His right rear axle is bent enough to cause the machine to hop at mild speeds. Mine has a very mild bend in the left rear, not as noticeable.
I called yamaha, told them my story. I only told them about one bike and the gentleman gave me a hard time. He kept asking me how I bent the axle. I told him that I was not sure. I asked him what the warranty covered. He said that the warranty only covered manufacturer defects(which was not what I was told when I bought it).
Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so was it covered under warranty?
