Default 05 Arctic Cat 250 2X4 New 2 me, Several ?'s

Since I'm new here(Been gone) a little info about myself. I'm 29 and have been riding Atv's for 17 years. 6' tall and 200lbs. For the last two years I have been doing with out an Atv. Since my Uncle cant walk any more he gave me his Four wheeler. Its an 2005 Arctic Cat 250 2X4 Semi manual, Independent rear and 3 wheel disc brakes. Low and High range. Less than 200 miles. Like new!

I really like this wheeler, except for the lack of power and 4X4. It has a smooth ride and goes most places a 2X4 shouldn't go.

I'm saving money up to buy a bigger 4X4. My main question is can I get a K&N filter and a bigger jet for a little more power. Any other mods for more power? Exhaust?

Haha! I know its just a 250, but are there any mods for more power to hold me over until I can afford a new wheeler.

Thanks for your help!!

air filter is AC-3098 knfilters.com then go to search..checked HMF for a pipe but didn't see one.
to answer your question--more air in plus rejeting plus better exaust equal more power.
dynojet has kit pt#Q-610 $ 59.45
Good luck!

Thanks Mudbug5!

I couldn't find any "kits". I will look these up.

Has anyone put a K&N plus bigger jet(and exhaust) on a 2005 Arctic Cat 250?

Thanks Fred
