Default Homemade Wolverine 450 Radiator Gaurd

I spent $10.00 on some expanded steel and about a day to make it and it turned out great. Here are some photos.

Nice idea! i rather do that then pay $75 bucks for a rad. guard.

Nice work! I need something like that for my Grizz.. I already took a stick in once but got VERY LUCKY and it just smashed a few fins! Off to home cheapo tongiht!

Nice work. I was just pricing these and couldn't believe how they cost.

Can you find expanded metal at home cheapo or slowes?

looks good did you just bend it over the edge of your work bench or kinda use the plastic one as a template?

I bought a 1'x2' peice of expanded metal at home depot for 10.00. To make it i spent a few hours making a template out of cardboard till it looked and fit right then transfered it to the metal cut it out and sandwiched it between two boards in a vise and bent it.

gotta love C.A.D. Cardboard assisted design [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] That is how I made the extensions for the A-Arm guards to provide better protection for my Inner CV boots
