well my warrior broke on sat.. so i borrowed my buddys raptor and now im having trouble keeping it running i started to trouble shoot but dont know what the deal is.. first i thought it wasnt getting gas.. so i switched it to res ran good for like 30 mins then it died... well i took the seat off was gonna take off the carbs and noticed the air box has a nylon screen over it..???? never seen that before (never had a raptor either) anyways its torn... could this bethe problem with it being torn ... dirt and any other thing can get in there and get in the carb.. please help me

 

Make sure none of your vent lines are blocked or pinched.I had one pinched and coludn't get mine to keep running unless I had the gas cap off.Took me a while to figure it out

pinched line...? yeah that could be but what about the nylon over the air box..? and yes thre is gas im not a retard!!!! it just wont stay running any other things that it might be..?

 

A buddy of mine has a raptor and his doesn't have any kind of nylon cover so I don't know what that could be

cantooner valve..? where ?? the nylon is an aftermarket part.. my buddy bought it PA and we are in NY it is set up for racing... he doesnt kow much about quads and im more of a motorcycle guy just starting to learn quads but want to ride and its really pissing me off, needless to say i have to work on the warrior too sometime so i can ride that... so i have two quads BROKE at my hous and cant ride either...... no pinched lines... still acting up runs ok for 30 mins then starts being stupid... please any more tips..

 

is it overheating.check the fan,and the oil level

 

does it still get spark after it shuts off,if not it might be the coil
