my friend just got a yz85 and ive had a raptor 350 for about a year and a half now and he says his yz will beat my raptor in a drag.

just so u know his yz is stock and my raptor has and lrd full exhaust, a k&n air filter and a rev kit.
also how much would my raptor be able to match with a yfz450

 

My Warrior 350 is only a little slower than a stock CR125 with a much smaller rider. Id say you have a good chance against a YZ85. Rider weight must make a huge diference on such a small bike though so if he's a tiny little dude than you never know.

Not a snowballs chance.

 

i used to have a rm80 that had a ton of accelration of course
it had aftermarket parts because the kid i got it from used to race
it. But i beat a z400 for about the length of a football field and then
the z-400 flew past me.
so really it depends on how long the drag race is.
By the way I definetely don't see a warrior beating a yfz 450.

You said your raptor had mods. So, ya it would smoke a stock warrior. Warrior is a raptor and raptor is a warrior. They are comparable in almost every aspect.

i dont know what changes they made on the rappy 350's. but i heard they are just a tad bit faster then the warrior, or so i heard. mabye its the way their geared, mabye their a little lighter. i dont know for sure. the only way to tell is to race them stock-4-stock with similiar riders. but if you plan to race a yfz then dont hold your breathe, it will stomp you out the hole in a heartbeat. and the only time you will see it for the whole race is at the holeshot. you might beat the yz85 tho.

 

ok well even on an offday for a yfz450 i don't see a raptor 350 with the few parts
on it that you have, beating one of the fastest 450s on the market
