Ok i was wondering what to get. I like the sportsman 500. But i was wondering what you guys think. Ok I will use it to plow, ride in field, hunt, and trail ride. So i was wonder what size to get. I want enough power to be able to plow well. Also idc about speed. And I have to have 4wd. Well should I look at other brands then polaris I dont know if I really need IRS but i think it would be nice. Also what winch is good? And what is should i get EBS for what im doing?

You won't go wrong with the 500 HO! I use mine for everything you have listed and then some and it always gets me home. I am constantly amazed by how much snow it can push with a 5' blade. Mine is a '01 HO and when it is finally time to move on I will be getting another 500 HO but definately fuel injected. As for the IRS, why would you buy anything that doesn't have IRS!!! Once you have ridden with it yo won't want to be with out! You can look other brands but it sounds like your mind is already on what you want!! Have fun shopping and good luck with what ever you buy!!

def whant a polaris sporstman iv drove teh 400 and seem to have enogh power and torqe to do what you need I know people who have a polaris v blade on theres and it plowes great they use it on there parking lot so they make a bit pile so it has enogh power i would think.for what you are doing idk about the EBS but as for winches all of tehm are teh same parts as long as you get a good name gorrila is a 3rd of the price and there service is wounderfull if you buy off ebay. you will always hear stories of people breaking a gorrila and having to get pulled out withe teh warn but i know people that broke there warn and got pulled out with gorrilla. its realy up 2 u as for me i don't whant to spend $ 350 for a winch when i can get teh same thing if not better for $85 iv had 2 gorrillas and all great so far idk there are probably other good brands out there 2.

You cant beat the 500 for power but the 400aka 425 is decent machine and capable of any thing you want.

If you're refering to the 400HO its actually 455cc. If not, I guess I should just but out. lol
