PLease help quick question

Just bought a Honda 300ex for my 12 yr old son as a first atv. A little big but I got a good deal.

Is there a way I can limit the speed until he gets used to it?

PLease help quick question

Tell him to keep it in 1st or second gear, but otherwise, theres no adjustment on the throttle stop, which wouldnt help much anyway.
