I'm looking to buy a quad but I'm not sure which one. Everyone has something good and something bad to say about all of them.Maybe you guys can give me your opinion. I'm small so I don't want anything to heavy and hard to handle and turn. I also don't want it to be too light because I don't want to flip it or tip it over. But I'm looking for an automatic. That's a must! I just want something I can ride safely on until I'm better at it. I'm not using it for racing just trail riding and messing around. But I am going to want to get my money's worth. I need something I can grow into.It has to be able to be modified to change as I learn. I'm not going to want an automatic forever! And I'm hopefully going to get better so I'll want something I can play with also. If you guys could give me your opinion on this subject it would be great!!!

P2gal-Hopelessly Helpless( with no quad... how embarassing! )

Sounds like a Polaris TrailBlazer would be just right for you. They are automatic, cost $3199. You can add a pipe and a clutch kit for a little over $400 after you get used to the stock version.

Couldn't agree more. Polaris ATV's in general are excellent for the ladies! In fact I'm pretty sure Polaris riders are exclusively feminine...

Sorry, couldn't help my self.

P2gal...u really should consider a auto-clutch. they are really easy to get used to...if i can learn to use it , i am sure u can too! Don't forget the saftey gear...helmet(vented, gloves, cell phone, goggles (no-fog)! Hope you have fun and get the perfect bike for you! Do alot of research...talk to alot of people...find out what u like! Good Luck and ride safe!

Ok, check this out. The Polaris Trail Blazer would be a excellent choice if it were not a Polaris. I dont think anyone here will debate the fact that a Polaris is not a well built machine. They are very strong machines, just not very reliable. Please trust me on this one, learn how to ride a quad with a automatic clutch, i promise that you can learn in about 15 min. I think that you would be much happier with a Kawasaki Lakota Sport. It is a very fun machine, very reliable, easy to handle and offers a lot of bang for buck. Suspension is very good for a quad of that type also. Please look into anything other than a Polaris.

the lakota is nice, a friend of mine has a 97 lakota and a 2000 trail blazer, If I had to choose from the two Id take the lakota.

People that rag on Polaris are usually people that have never owned one. Or, they had a second cousin who was dating his sister that had a friend of a friend that had nothing but troubles with a Polaris. Polaris isn't #2 in sales because they sell junk.
