Default 2007 Polaris Scrambler 500 Performance

I am looking to add some performance to this polaris scrambler 500. I was thinking of adding an exhaust system, air filter and jet kit.
I am unsure of which exhaust system to go with. Some people say Big gun, or pro circuit, or supertrapp, or Aaen, or fmf etc.
I just want a nice sounding exhaust that works great with the scrambler.
If anybody has some performance suggestions, i would love to hear.

thanks

I had the old style AAEN silencer on the 500 my wife use to have.
I thought it sounded ok,but they changed to alot better looking design.
Might try and go to their different sights to check for decibel levels.
Anything 100 or more decibels will be loud.
RCR has a silencer for it as well as HPD.
I think hpd's website is hpd-inc.com?

White bros is about the best slipon you can get if you can find one.FMF is bad and is not real loud.ProCircut is a great system but very loud.the Aaen is ok but not rebuildable.
I would let the pipe wait and get a Dalton blk/white primary spring from RcR

thanks for the feedback. what is a Dalton blk/white primary spring and what does it do? There is so much to know with these ATV's. Do you guys buy the product and install yourselves or do you bring it to a shop and let them worry about it?
My 2007 has an extended warranty from Polaris / G.E. I was told that if i start putting on aftermarket parts i will void the warranty. Other people said its ok as long as you let a polaris dealer do the work.
any thoughts on this?

They can only deny you warranty if a specific aftermarket part directly caused the failure of an OEM part. If you put a pipe on it and you have a wheel bearing go bad they CANNOT denie you warranty on the wheel bearing. You lucky guys in the States are covered by the Magnuson Moss Act http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act and it provides coverage for just this problem.

Talk to your dealer before you start throwing legal papers in their face and see what they are ok with covering

AAEN PERFORMANCE IS VERY NICE LOOKING AND SOUNDING SILVER CERAMIC COATING. 3-5 HP. NICE BOOST IN TORQUE ALSO. I ALSO INSTALLED THE CAM. GREAT IMPROVEMENT. ALSO HAVE THE TMX 38mm TAPER BORED TO 42mm, AFTER INSTALLING CARB, THROTTLE RESPONSE IS LIKE THE NEW 450'S AND ALSO EQUAL IN POWER. THEY OFFER MORE STUFF BUT THESE ARE THE BIGGEST GAINS IN POWER WITHOUT RAISING THE RPM'S TO HIGH ONLY 200-300 OVER STOCK. VERY RELIABLE.

www.hpd-inc.com or rittercycle.com are the two places I would shop. I agree with sjbr549. Rick Ritter will not steer you wrong. Give him a call.

scrammytodd, I'm also in Canada so i guess i won't be covered by that Magnuson Moss Act. Next week i am going to talk to my polaris dealer and find out what he thinks. There is almost 2 years left on this warranty and i would hate to void it by slippling on an aftermarket pipe and clutch kit. If i knew how to fix these things maybe i wouldnt be so concerned.
Anyways thanks to everyone for your help. This is a great forum.
