Hot Wiring a Predator
#1
The ignition on my 2004 Predator is causing me a lot of headache. Instead of purchasing a new ignition for $85 and waiting 2 weeks for it to get here, I want to splice the wires just above where you plug the ignition in and hot wire it.
There are 4 wires. 2 red wires on the outside and 2 black wires in between them. Which wires need to be connected? I assume it is the red wires, but It is an assumption and I don't want to be wrong.

I would just wait for a new switch to arrive.....
$85 and two weeks is a small price to pay to the nasty damage you can do by hot-wiring.........
Besides with all the ATV theft these days I highly doubt anyone here is going to tell you. Nothing personal of course......
I would call around to some local dealers, I cannot believe there are no ignitions in stock anywhere.
