700 efi rollover, it's not running right
#1
my freind rolled my dads 06 sportsman with a 700efi over out on the ice, ever since it struggles to even move in high gear as it will only rev up to about 3000 rpms. in low it will rev to 4000-4500rpms but it is still very low on power.
it idles low and you have to stay on the gas to keep it running.
any body know what might have happened? there is a crack on the etc box

PUSH THE MACHINE BY HAND, TO SEE IF MAYBE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER JAMMED, OR MAYBE SOMETHING ELSE IN THE DRIVE BENT.
SORRY DIDNT READ ALL OF YOUR STORY, YOU SAID IT IDLES LOW.

i have heard there might be a "rollover switch" that needs to be reset, is this true? this would make sense because the moment she went belly up and i ran over she was running like it is now

Did you bend the handlebars?...........If they are the Throttle may need to be adjusted of fixed..........Never heard of a rollover switch.....My wife rolled her 2006 Sp 450 very lightly and The oil will run out into the airbox..........Did you check to see how much oil was lost ?...............Then if you ran the Quad without oil .....engine damage may have happened!!..........I know I am just full of good news ....right!!........Check the air filter box for oil and the oil level.........Caper.......
