THE RON WOODS AND THE LOONEYTUNES ARE THE ONLY REAL CHOICE FOR MAX PREFORMANCE ON THE DS HANDS DOWN. THE LOONEYTUNES CAN BE A TAD DANGEROUS AND YOU HAVE TO DO A TAD OF REARANGING SO THE WOODS WOULD MORE THEN LIKELY BE THE BEST CHOICE.

Everytime I see his bike Unskinny Bop comes to mind...
I've had great results with both the Yoshi RS3 and the Big Gun Race series pipes. The BG is a complete system. My HPR open end cap performs really well also. I know two folks who have run the LT and neither of them cared for it. Takes a stage 3 build to get what it offers out of it. Sounds cool though.

if you think of unskinny bop now.... wait till the make over is complete!!!! i'm taliking ping & green zebra print & lots of purple.... going to be SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
back to the thread, after almost 3 years i decided to repack my pipe since it was off the bike. much to my srprise, there was only a piece of the packing left about the size of a baseball. didn't think it burned up like that. i guess it should be done more often. the packing is cheap, less then $30.00 hopefully it will help with performance.
P.S. Ace thanks for the compliment... glad to know that my bike is on your mind.

That new scheme sounds killer too, definitely a one of a kind.
I have to repack once a season. Lots of hours with about 12-15 trips split between Glamis and Dumont. I can tell by the sound when the packing is getting low. Most of it gets burned out except a small amount down at the base.

got a thunder alley on my 800.... its a great pipe, you can get
ether a reg. end cap or a super trap end... (have to buy the
super trap plates and stuff yourself) closest thing to a topgun
out there... sounds good and makes good power from low to top
