First how much is he asking and whats the general condition beyond the bent stem. And if a ds was rolled the stem is easily bent its a heavy pig.No biggie if thats the only problem.and somewhere in the 250 range to fix a stem. But the rule of thumb is if you don't feel good walk away....... Me or no one on here can second guess your first impressions of the guy or the deal.

True, True, True, I agree with everything AZ said. And if the only problem is the bent bars and stem, no big deal. I've rolled mine 3 times at the dunes and I replaced my bars and all is well. Good luck!

Motor may be sound... but check for leaks. A roll over doesn't really damage the motor. Check chain if it's rusty shows sign of negligence on his part. Chain maintenance tells you a lot of the previous owner. See if you can take it for a spin, observe hwo easily it shifts into every gear. When firing it up take note on how easy it starts (try to start it from when its cold) and observe any smoke coming from exhaust. They are solid bikes.. but as stated you feel the deal is too good to be true.. it probably is.

if the stem is bent , the headlight most likely has broken tabs too.
