ok can anyone help me out??.. im getting a 450 yfz and allll my friends have dirtbikes .. which obvisouly i have more torque then them for a track.. but when were racing in the fields they can beat me.. so can anyonre tell me wht to do and wht mods i should get for my 450 to get my top speed going faster?? ( muffler, sprockets, cranks, pistons, jet kits: anything)..??

hey man, first try the basic 3 mods, ya know, jets, exhaust, and air filter. but if that dont work you might have to go into the motor and do some work. they will get you in the open most likely all the time but you might give them a real challenge with some mods...

 

Dirtbikes really haul the mail comparied to our heavier atvs. I would say gear it up at all possible the yfz has a lot of capabilitys u can do to it besides a pipe filter jet you could get an adjustable ignition and edelbrock carb iv found this very good for power and reliability u could go with cams and maybe a bigbore if you think you need it.
