Polaris outlaw questions!

I have a 2006 Polaris Outlaw...I was wondering if anyone could recommend a pipe? I am new to this kind of stuff. I just wanted to get more speed! Do you guys recommend the slip ons or what? Any help would be great....I also am gonna change the filter and get a K & N!

I don't have an outlaw, but have had a yoshi s/o on my 05 predator that I liked. On my 07 I put a full HMF system and really like it. I also ripped out all the old air intake and put in a new box, rejetted, and it really wakes it up. I have read in many places where the HMF pipe is THE BEST pipe out there for the predator ( and the least expensive), but I'm not sure if the outlaw is any different. It seems like there aren't a whole lot of aftemarket options out there for them yet, which is what I ran into when I had my 05 predator, had to design and fabricate a lot of things that I can now buy aftermarket. BTW, I purchased most of my mods from www.partsforatvs.com (mod 3). I would recommend them to anyone. Cheapest I could find on the net, good service, and free shipping (negotiate!)

if moneys no problem, then a set of pure polaris dual exhaust would really set it off but they run about 800, if you just want somthing for a little cash the fmf pipes seem to have a good reputation on them.

i have the HMF ballance on my 525. i love it, it sounds great and is very well priced. took me all of 10 minutes to install. they also have a powder coat option that comes in orange, so it looks great on the ktm here are a few pics of my exhaust

Hey Bomb Squad...did you get the whole exhaust or the slip on? Also the dual exhaust version from pure polaris for $799.00....is that really a better pipe or is it just expensive because its from Polaris?

mine is the slip on version. the pipe will bolt up right about where your right foot is. i got it for around 250 i think. i think the duel exhaust version from polaris is overrated. i havent researched flow rates on them at all, but im betting the single probably flows more than the dual. im thinking the duel might give you more low end power sense its got two smaller pipes vs one big pipe. but the hmf balance is just what it says "balanced" the addition to the torque band is pretty even from low up through high rpms. its a pretty good setup for trail riders like me. but in short ya, i think you are paying for the name with that polaris setup.

hey beast, are you lookin for more top end or bottom end? cuz while you are getting a new exhaust anyway and you said you just want more speed, you can always easily change your front sprocket. costs about 20 bucks or so for a new sprocket and will change your bike alot. took me all 30 minutes to change it out.

Hey Bomb Squad...I am just looking for overall better power throughout...they dont really say what the main difference is between the different types like the "balance", "sport" and the other ones...I really like the setup on your outlaw...that looks pretty sweet...I just would like to have a deeper sound and something that will make me alittle faster and able to stay up with my brothers Yamaha450yzf...My outlaw is the 2006 500 outlaw....
