magnum 500 noise while turning?

Default magnum 500 noise while turning?

i have a 2001 magnum and i recently noticed that when i turn to the left or right,there is a noise like a "catching,or grabbing" coming from the rear of the machine,i have no clue about 4x4s,i have had sport quads for 16 years and just got this machine not to long ago.any suggestions?thanks for the help....

Default magnum 500 noise while turning?

The rear of the machine is a broad area, and descriptions of noises that are being read and not heard can be difficult......

Check the rear axle bearings - left side, by your rear brake caliper. Lift the rear of the machine so that you can try and move things by hand.
