The top speed of threnew Thundecat is...

I took my GPS and mounted it on the handle bars and got 80.2mph on pavement. The speedo was within 1-2mph. this was with only 100 miles on the bike and my large 325lb Native **** in the cockpit. I then measured out 1000ft on gravel and got 70.1mph. this bike sure does have some good power. Cant wait till she breaks in more and I put a set of light 26in tires on it. I should see 82+ mph.

Where i ride there's really not enough open trail's to see what the top speed of any quad is , unless you ride on the road's which is not allowed by law ; but i do know the Thundercat 1000 would get there 4 times as fast as my 06' 400 Auto !.... .

Gee what trail can you ride at 80+ mph. That even breaks every legal speed limit on any US highway.
If you have a death wish that is fine, just make sure you are on private land when you pull such an antic and don't involve or get anyone else hurt.
I call that irresponsible riding and that is why we now have designated trails and strict regulations. I hope that you don't contribute or become part of the problem. Don't let me see you do that because I will turn you in to the Warden service, as will many others. We have lost enough trails and have many restrictions because of irresponsible riders and I don't think this forum is a good place to brag about your antics.
Drive safely and responsible and have fun... Just keep in mind that just because the cops didn't catch you, doesn't mean that you won't get caught, there are many eyes watching and many people fighting to keep our trails open. We have lost enough trails because of a few irresponsibles and if you can't ride safely and responsible then maybe you should not be riding at all. And it is people like you that ruin things for others.

I cleaned up the last few responses. I won't do it again.
Next time, I'll hit the easy button.
Play nice, or you won't get to play at all.

No death wish, Jim. Just answering the one question that us speedfeaks have about the Tcat, and that is how fast is it on top speed. No spectators, just me and my GPS

I will ride as hard and as fast as I see safe. If that means doin 20 mph on a tight winding trail or 80mph on a lonely backroad highway with no trafiic then That is what I will do.

Have fun and ride within your abilities there Jim.
