I have saw several people saying the run a 400ex factory exhaust on a 250x/300ex.What modifications are necessary for this kind of setup.Does it require the stock headpipe or can it be used on an aftermarket headpipe.I currently run a DG exhaust system,headpipe and muffler, and got rid of my factory exhaust and headpipe.Will the aftermarket headpipe work or will I have to fabricate a collar or sleeve to use this setup.All input on this kind of setup is greatly appreciated.Thanks.Hasta!!

why would you want to do this?

 

It would have to flow better, be quiet as compared to aftermarket, and it would look alot better than the 300ex one. I would have tried it if the wife hadn't ordered the WB E series for hers.
