i want more power out of my warrior

start with the basics. slip-on pipe, k&n filter and a simple re-jet. while they won't give a big boost in power, they do help. after that, if you want to get serious, you can have the head ported, bigger cam and a higher compression piston. from there, you can always get a stroker kit for it.

What is done to it now? How much cash do you want to dump into it? How much faster does it need to be? Depending on the answers, either of the above posters could be right

You will need bigger main and probably pilot, most pipes can be had as a kit with jets that should be close for your application if not perfect. Lots of pipes out there, most are pretty good. i like HMF, but they are loud. FMF, Dubach, the list goes on.

If you insist on keeping it, a slip-on pipe, jets (jet kit) is manditory, K&N or Pro Design Filter, 20" lightweight (Holeshot GNCC or equiv.) rear tires, and a 14 tooth front sprocket will help noticeably. HMF slip-on is recommended, but they are a little noisy when you hamma down, but sound great. If you want to go in the engine, A 366cc 10.5:1 compression JE piston and a .430" (84 grind) Webcam will let you run with slightly modded 400 EX's. If that's not fast enough for ya, then sell it. The next options are a $250 port job, a bigger valve job, and a +10mil stroker 446cc kit for $1500.
