i am looking at a few quads and came across a 1986 Honda TRX250r with a 330 big bore and some other stuff, he says he had it dynoed at 65hp and thinks it will do high 80's does this sound right?

It's possible if it was built right, but 65 hp sounds a little exaggerated and it would have to be geared ridiculously high to hit those speeds, so high that you'd never be able to ride it in trails. You gotta be careful about built 2 strokes because they're temermental and seem to grenade a lot.
