Default How do I take slack out of chain?

I have the 300ex and I was going to go to a 12 tooth sprocket on the front and I was wondering how to take out the extra slack that this may cause? Anyone?

well if its anything like a 400ex then on the bearing case, there will be a wheel on the right side of the rear sprocket, loosen casing and turn the wheel downwards until tight, then tighten the bearing case.
