Polaris Scrambler 50
#1
O.K. I am new to this forum and looking for a bit of information from my friend. He has a 6 year old daughter that has outgrown the 15 mph top end of the ungoverned Scrambler. He has about 200 bucks to spend and wants about 20 mph or better top speed without sacrificing hill climbing ablility. CAN IT BE DONE?
Thanks a bunch.

Are all of the factory restrictors removed?...The 90cc scramblers used to have a tail pipe restrictor that really killed the power(I'm assuming you have a two stroke)...There is lots of stuff available(70cc kit, pipe, carb clutching) but I don't know how far you will get with $200 bucks.....Try hetricks,WRH racing for parts..

Any one else??? How much $ does it take to make a Scrambler 50 do 20mph? I do not want to lose any acceleration or hill climb ability. Someone has got to know the answer to this... A few more details please.
Thanks
Thanks

Why not just sell it or trade it and go a little bigger? By the time you go through time and expense trying to ring out another 5 mph, you could get a new kids quad for a few hundred more. I bought Kazuma 110's that have been great for my boys (10 and 8). Look at some 70 or 90cc. I think Kazuma makes both.
