When the snow melts I wanted to make a trip up to Silver Lake. Silver Lake is a state park, my DS has a woods Stage I kit. Will I be able to ride there with the louder exhaust ? I here they have some restrictions on noise levels.
I live in Northern Indiana, any other good places to ride near by ?

 

The Exhaust limit is 99 DB.

 

I'm pretty sure you need a spark arrester also.

I'm not sure about the noise restrictions, but they did not say anything about my Banshee which has FMF pipes. You have to have a flag, spark arrestor and michigan ORV sticker. Also make sure you watch where the boundries are. The DNR does not take any crap. Trust me I made a honest mistake and they impounded my Quad for 24 hours and wrote me a 110 dollar misdemeanor ticket.
