Gas in my Grizzly air filter box
#1
Here is my problem...the 1999 Grizzly 600 would run but die out, then run again and die out. I took the cover off the air cleaner box and found that it was filled with black gasoline. The gas is coming up the crankcase ventilation hose. I'm guessing that there is a problem with the carb but I'm not sure. Does anyone have an answer? You need to check your engine oil and make sure you haven't filled the crankcase with gasoline. Gasoline in the crankcase is not good.........
The carburetor is flooding - probably due to a dirty needle and seat for the float. Try cleaning the carburetor and float needle/seat - you can use a golf tee to get into the seat and clean the sealing surface. If this doesn't fix the flooding, the float needle/seat may need to be replaced.
