i was thinking about dumping money into for a while but then i bought a car and didnt have any
now that i have some again i started thinking again
this time i thought of two things
1. putting money into my blaster
or
2. saving and buying a 450 class atv
i want your opinions on both of my thoughts and just to let yous know i mostly ride in the woods around me and some open fields
thanks...

If you will be riding tight wooded trails I would go w/ a 400 class quad IE Suzuki Z400 or the Honda 400EX. These quads have a mutch better torque curve desingned for trail riding!

Pretty much any one of the 450's are great machines. All of them are fast, all of them are pretty reliable, and they all look sweet. One major difference I have noticed with the ones I have ridden is the ergonomics. The Honda was the best for tall guys like myself(6'6"). The Yami and Suzuki are both lower and good for smaller riders. So go sit on a few and ride them and see how you feel, then make a decision from there. Good Luck!

i was leaning more towards the yfz caused i love yamaha and im short im only 5'5 but im not looking to buy new i dont have the cash and i found a bill balance edition for 3650 so i was looking into that

The first time I rode the YFZ, it felt like a bigger more powerful Blaster. I like the YFZ for play riding (informal track riding and jumping), but i prefer the 450R for cross country.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago. I was so head strong on buying the yfz or the honda 450r. After doing a lot of searching on here and thinking. I ended up going with the z 400. One big thing was reverse which at the time the 450's didn't have. I have never looked back. I do a lot of trail riding and the z is perfect. And there is plenty of speed with it. Now if your planning on racing then I could def. see going for a 450. For an all around great quad, 400 class is perfect. Either way, try test driving some and find out what you want and what will be best for you.

You can dump as much money into your blaster as it would cost to buy a used 450, and when you're done the 450 will still be a better ATV.
