Mud Tires? 27s or 28s
#1
I've got an 07 800 2x, got the 2inch lift, still debating on mudders, will 28s fit, will i need a clutch kit, or do i need to go with 27s? I've got stock rims 6x12 front, 7x12 rear, will 10" wide tire fit on 6" wheel, 12" fit on 7"? Spacers?? Does anybody have an opinion on the GBC Gators or Maxxis Mud Bugs Bi Plies, or do you recommend another brand? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

got an 06 800 , 1inch spacers on the front and 1.5s on the back with 28 bugs. no lift , no issues. they chew pretty good, i have the heelclicker clutch kit but didnt really notice much with the kit. cant really see you havin a problem with your 500 turning them

i would recommend a dalton clutch kit if you go w/ the 28" tires since you already have the 2" lift your fine there. i here the mud bugs do well and the gators look pretty mean as well.

If you seriously need mud tires you can get 32" Gorilla Silverbacks and a 6" lift kit. http://www.gorilla-axle.com/in...p?act=viewCat&catId=25 It will cost thousands of dollars but your quad will look badass. I'm sticking with stock myself. I don't ride in mud all the time, just once in awhile, and my stock 26" tires work fine.
