What oil & filter for a Raptor 50?
#1
I purchased a used raptor 50 last year and am ready to do an oil change.
I'm wondering if there is an after market or equivilant oil filter I can use instead of stock?
And what weight oil does this little bike need in the engine & rearend?
Thanks for your time, David.

Raptor 50 doesn't have an oil filter thats changeable. you can remove the clutch cover and clean the oil screen but I don't think that really needed. I use 10w-30 in our Raptor 80 and Raptor 50. the rear end uses an 80w gear oil.

Wow, that's good to know.
I saw a plate on the side of the crankcase and just assumed there'd be a cartridge type filter under it.
10w-30 & 80w. Got it, easy enough.
Thanks for the help!
