Default I replaced a boot,Yea for me

Since we have 2 500's thats 8 boots so I needed to do the first torn 1 to see if I would do them or take it in to the dealer. After doing a forum search back a year I was prepared. After pulling it apart I have new respect for the way the Polaris is made, more than just the ride. It took me over 2 hours but the next time maybe 1/2 that. It's great to have a forum to read where members share information. Total cost -$39- shipping, boot kit and clamp tool. I have no idea how much I saved but it made me feel like summer was at last here in Colorado

I just had mine to the dealer for a warranty repair and when they put it up on the lift I noticed I had a torn boot on the back. I had them do it while I was there but I paid close attention to how it was done. He had it apart and back together pretty quick but I got the idea of how its done so I'll probably be replacing them from now on. The tech said you didnt need a tool for the clamps he just used a pair of side cuts. Where did you get the boot kit and tool?

Now you see why I was happy I managed to get it done, an old man who can't even count. Thats right it's 16 boots total on 2.
Onesavage- thats ugly, how did you break it?
Rowe-Americancvstore.com, I ordered a kit and they sent me 2 packs of grease and 6 clamps, I think the extra was just in case. The clamp tool was $10 and did make it easy and quick for that part.
