2004 raptor 50 tranny/clutch mod
#2
the mod is actually harder to describe than to do.
- drain motor oil
- put the atv on its side with the clutch cover facing up.
- remove the clutch cover from the motor.
- on the ouside front part of the clutch basket is a "C" ring that holds the clutch plates in the basket. remove this ring carefully with a regular screw driver.
- grab the outside of the clutch pressure plate (the closest plate to the engine) and slowly remove all the clutch plates through the top of the clutch basket.
- remove the top of the clutch boss assembly (inside the clutch basket). the steel ***** will be visible.
-make sure however many ***** that you put back in that they are evenly spaced around the inside of the clutch basket.
if you go to
