VBike and Kazuma Performance
#1
Well, despite my recent dissatisfaction with responsiveness by Tim, I must say that the V4S did well two weekends ago in Wisconsin along with my boys two Kazuma 110 Falcons. We spent the weekend on about 240 acres of a friends property as well as his neighbors 200 acres pretty much riding from early morning until we had turn the headlights on to get back to the cabin.
All three held up very well. The only thing I had to do while there was adjust the idle on my boys carbs because it was 76 degrees on Friday when we started riding and woke up Saturday morning to snow and 33 degrees. They started right up, but would not idle until I turned in the idle screw a little. I had adjusted the AF mixture screws and idles to the warmer weather that we had been having prior to the trip up north.
We spent three days riding them pretty hard. All wooded trails and making our own way as well as some creeks. We even got one of the 110's nearly submerged to the head going through a creek and had to pull it out. After about 10 minutes, it started right up and we were on our way. We were due for a break anyway. I was jumping the V4S, no problems. Actually, I was pretty impressed with the suspension. We were going over logs, through some pretty tight spaces, in water, up some pretty steep hills. The headlights even worked well on them getting back through the woods to the cabin after dark, they lit the trails up pretty well. The only down side on the Kazuma's is the headlights work off the coil, so when you slow down the rpm's, they dim. All in all, I have zero complaints.
I would recommend either of the quads to anyone.

Good to hear you had a uneventfull outing on the ATVs. I can hardley wait to get our V4S and 150 into the mountain trails here in Colorado. Still waiting for the snow to melt

I put a couple pictures up on here earlier today, literally just two. Next time I will take the camcorder, never want to lug it around and stop while we are riding. Never want to take the time to stop having fun to record. I hate to say it, but so far, for the money, the VBike seems to be the best way to go. The only thing I really don't like so far is the seat. The foam in it isnt great, so i think i am going to take it to an auto upholstery place and see if they can pull it apart, put in some good foam and re-wrap it.
