I am thinking about getting a 350x and am looking for reviews. Also old reviews and test ride reviews from magazines. Things like how they do at steep hill climbs, jumps, water, drag races. and if possible a topspeed for a completly stock one.

 

Not to sure on what you will find on reviews but many would argue
The 350X was probably The Best ATV Built
Fast easy to ride easy to care for
Lighter than Quad and 6 spd trans who could ask for more
When they do go up for sale they go fast

I love the 250r wanted one but don't think i'm ready for that kind of speed at this time maybe when i get more advanced. So I decided on 350x.

 

trust me, got spanked by and 350x there fast

 

a BONE STOCK 1986 250r will do 83mph and
a BONE STOCK 1985 350x will do 72mph
I wanted a three wheeler like the 350x because its got more low end power than topend which a 250r has more of. plus no mixing just gas and go If i ever ran out of gas on the trail the guys i ride with none of them ride a 2 stroke so i wouldn't be able to get fuel where as If i had a 4 stroke I would the third reason is them headlights just look really cool [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

This should end the mass confusion in earlier posts. Radar and GPS are the only way to accurately measure speed...

here is a list of the "aproximate" Average top speed of the majority of the most popular 3Wheeled ATV's. this list is based on severall criteria including magazine articals and test, manufactures "claimed" top speed, ( before lawsuits the manufactures were not afraid to post top speed in there spec sheets), and personall experiance using such equpiment as radar guns, atv mounted factory aproved and tested speedometers, side by side riding with comparable ( i.e. XL on-off road m/c's) by riding on flat paved sufaces on distance's of over two miles. (how fast your buddy, the cops, or whoever had to accelerate to to catch up to you on your trike is not the same).

NOTE, this is Based on brand new showroom stock 3 wheelers. NO modifications or 15yr plus machines. rebuilt or not. (there is more to a rebuild then just piston and rings).

How did they get one to run long enough to get a speed recorded
Several buddys had those back in the day
Always broke
But when they ran they were fast
which worked out we would ride buddy work on Tecate get running he would blast past us
Then break we pass he get running blast past then break continue cycle
Sold at night it actually fired up for the guy
Buddy was gone so I knew nothing about bike was just selling for buddy as he had a family emergency

Hondas defenatly made the best atc there bullet proof
