HOW MUCH SLACK IS IN THE THROTTLE LEVER, SHOULD ONLY BE ABOUT 1\8 INCH OF FREEPLAY. THERE IS AN ADJUSTER ON THE CABLE, RIGHT BEFORE THE CABLE ENTERS THE HEADLIGHT POD, YOU HAVE TO SLIDE BACK THE RUBBER BOOT AND ADJUST UNTIL THE FREEPLAY IS CORRECT.

GOOD LUCK

is there aftermarket exhasut on this? if so you could be leaking air into the header. or your mixture screw is to lean and needs to be richend up. but if everything is stock you shouldn't have to mess with this. good luck

Check the intake boot between the carb and engine, there known for cracking and will cause a back fire on decel.
