I was looking through ebay and came across two winches that are way cheaper than warn or ramsey. The brand name is Viper and Venom! I see that they are cheap, and most of the time that is a bad thing. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with these to types of winches and should I stay away from them.

Also, I thought that polaris already had wires ran from the battery to the front and was winch ready! Just needed to add a switch, mounting braket and winch. Maybe I was wrong.

on a RZR forum, people really like the Viper winch. I know the owner was posting on the site as well and seemed to offer great support.

 

I did see on there ebay store that they provide more than the competitors, I just like to hear first hand, who has used this winch and is it worth the money.

 

search for viper winch at http://www.rzrforums.net. There are positive comments from some that are using them.

I paid $50 to upgrade the free promotional Polaris 2500 winch to the Polaris 3500 winch w/synthetic rope and the corded remote. However, if I had to buy one outright I would had tried the Viper.
