Who Still runs their Stock Tires??
#1
Hello All,
I have 700 miles on my '07 Grizz 450 and I am still running the stock Maxxis tires... they do a good job on everything I ride as I don't get into alot of mud...
In my case - money doesn't grow on trees and I can't justify spending $300-$400 to replace tires that are still working fine...

I'm running the stock maxxis tires on aftermarket (itp ss108) wheels on my wolverine, they perform great for my type of riding. I still have the stock setup on my bruin too...they are good enough for now. Once they wear down, I will replace them with some mudlites.
And I'm running ITP terra cross tires on my RZR...the stockers were just too small and ugly in my opinion, so I swapped out the wheels and tires. (14" ITP SS 112's on 25" terracrosses)

I am running stock tires on my 08 650sra brute, they work good for most my riding but I like the mud too, so as soon as the loan officer (wife) will approve I am buying some mudlites.

Loan Officer... I called my last girlfriend the "wallet master" and now that I have a new g/f --- new tires will probably only come once these are toast...

I have 26" PXT radials on my Polaris, stock. There aren't a lot of good radials on the market, and buying non-radial replacements is a step down from stock. I save hundreds of dollars by not replacing them, and use the money to buy more $4 gas.

I do. Few weeks ago went out with some folks, most of them had problems. I didn't so I see no sense in changing. Some of the stock tires that the other guys had were awful. Me and the Can-Am guy stopped for nothing.
