Ok heres the deal i have a 2003 400ex it is ticking and ive adjusted the valves like it says to do and it still does it how do i fix this problem what options do i have and whats the best option. please help me out if u have any answers... Thanx

 

i have '01 400ex and mine was ticking so i adjusted the valves too, but does your smoke oil? if so then youneed to rebuild it. i'm just going to get a new piston and gasket kit and if you have the same prob then i do then thagts what you need to do.

 

mine used to smoke alittle but not alot and not really anymore
