I am trying to find out who is making big bore stroker kits for the Raptor. I called Speed Tech today, and they told me their kit is not available yet. Can you tell me the name(s) and number(s) of anyone producing such a kit? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide to me.

You need to call FST (Four Stroke Tech) and you will talk to Mickey. He only takes calls between 3 and 5 CST. Unfortunately, I don't have the # with me today. If you have the last issue of either (can't remember) Dirt wheels or 4 Wheel atv, they did a write up on his kit. I spoke to Mickey on Friday, last week. He said his kit is 40 over bore and I beleive it was a 10.25-1 compression. As you would expect, he said the Raptor is now unbeleivable. I am looking for a stock bore, high comp piston for my Raptor but, have only found Powroll offers them. I always like to speak with several Companies to see what their veiws are. If you happen to know of others offering a stock bore high comp kit, let me know. I hope this helps, find the last issues of those magazines.

Powroll told me that there is a problem of breaking some kind of gear when the power gets pumped up enough with a big bore or stroker cranks.

Does anyone have an idea of what gear this may be? They were a little secretive when telling me about it.

swytak,

I haven't been able to locate the number for 4-Stroke Tech; it must be a brain fart or something. Anyways, I'd really appreciate if someone could post their number here. Thanks.

BluByURaptor8,
Well the best I can do is get you the # tomorrow. I did speak with a couple of other companies today. Speed Tech, is working on some copression kits but won't be ready for atleast 6 weeks. They want to throughly test the kit prior releasing it for sale.
Vito's, aren't even working on anything for the Raptor.
Trinity Racing, is working with a European company that has been working with the European version of the 660 motor. This motor has been around for atleast 6 years. Trinity, will not offer anything for atleast 4 weeks. Again, they want to do extensive testing prior to releasing the kit.
Another company you may want to talk with is Bike Worx. Again, I don't have the # with me today. I will get the 2 #'s for you tomorrow.
As it looks, these kits are in the R&D stages and seem to be a bit premature at this point. I'll let you know if I find anything, later.
Good Luck!

It will be interesting to see how Big Bore Raptors hang with Trick Banshees in the Dunes.

BluByURaptor8U,
OK, I got the #'s for you.
Bike Worx is (978)897-0044
FST is (814)842-6159, Mickey is who you want to speak with. They only take calls from 3-5 CST and you have to keep calling because you will get a busy signal, due to the times he takes calls.
When and if you get any info, post it for others to see what is available.
Good Luck!
