Default Sportsman700 hard steering

I had to install stonger front springs to get rid of the sag in the front end of my Sportsman 700, 04.5. The steering is definetly harder with these springs. I have been riding this way for a couple of years and when I climb on other machines there is quite a difference. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to change this?

You might check out the alignment on your tires. Lifting it may change the geometry of the front end. I found, on my X2, that it actually steers easier after putting on the heavy duty springs. In my case, I think there is a little less of a contact patch because of the lifting affect of the springs. I think Polaris describes the basic alignment in the owner's manual.
