What atv do you want?
I want a green 2008 polaris sportsman 500 h.o. with warn 2.5 winch, 60 inch plow, hand guards, and all the silver body guard except front rack extender. I know silver with green but i like it. I also would maybe like crusher rims. If i were really to get one i would get nothing with it cuz to much money. All that would be
$8,618.88 | Payments: $140.82 /Mo.

I want a 6x6 with a 700 or 800. I want it to have the bigger box like the present 6x6 has but with a folding seat like the X2. I also want them to put in 2 independent rear suspensions instead of the solid axles like they have now. I'd prefer 2 gear boxes instead of chain driven. They could call it the Sportsman X2 6x6.

I was thinking about rzr but it would take about a year to save up for the down payment but then I add in christmas bonus tips I have it half paid for by summer 2009.
but i just ask myself how many atv trails are going to allow this thing? I like mostly trails like fields and woods. I will judge a mud hole before hit if I'll make it across when i use to ride my sportsman that thing and me would come back wet and covered in my mud I had to bring a second set of cloths. Im not a very fast rider. I tend to just cruse the atv trails and just take in everything and leave my worries at home. I found as i get older I dont like play video games very much anymore.
I guess what have to do is just look at and test everything before i come to a decision but the rzr is hard to beat but jee wiz with the way gas prices are going I might just a small aluminum trailer and yamaha raptor 250 and pull it with my car.
Edit: im alittle over 6" 160lbs do you think raptor would work for me? just wondering

You don't need to go and get a 250cc ......if your thinking about gas!!
There are many models out there in the 400-500cc range that are very good on fuel IMO.....
Example the new A/C 400 auto TRV that the in-laws just bought.........Very good on fuel even with two riders on it!!.............I would just say that if you can put out the money (or payments) for a new Quad, then gas should not be a issue just to have fun riding in your spare time...Have fun shopping!!.....Caper.........

Well, I wanted a RZR. Then the wife saw one, and said that is gonna be the next thing we buy. So, I just agreed. Best not to argue sometimes.
What I want is the parts to fix the used Aeon 90 I bought for my great niece. I guess I could have bought a cheaper one that runs, but wanted something to tinker with. Plus, I'll know this was put together right and she can tell her friends I built it for her.

I don't know what your gas mileage will be but my 250 Trailblazer used a lot more gas than my Sportsman 500s ever did. I had to run WOT to keep up with people on trails where I cruise half throttle on my 500. The EFIs get even better gas mileage than the H.O.s. I use 15-20 gallons of gas towing it to the trail to burn a few gallons riding. Gas mileage on 400-500s shouldn't be a problem and they have plenty of power for work too.
