ps4 oil compared to ow-40?

We are phasing out 0-40 for PS4SS,Yes PS4 was for the Predator! 0-50 for Hawkeye and Phoenix! It sounds confusing, and yes it is! Hope to have STANDARDIZED oil for all vehicles someday!

Lots of people use 0w-40 Mobile1 without a problem. Polaris uses low weight oil like 0w-40 and 2w-50 to get oil to the cam quickly on cold starts.

With most of your oil in a seperate tank, I think the light oil is a good idea. If all the oil was sitting right there in the crankcase maybe it would be okay to use a heavier weight. A lot of people act like ATVs and cars are built the same way, and whatever they get away with in their cars will also work in an ATV.
