I will be buying a DS650 in two months, and financing part of it. I only know of one company, Progressive, who will insure me Full coverage for $606 a year(ouch). Geico doesn't insure in my area. Any other suggestions?

Need to upgrade from my 85 ATC200X

If you own a house check to see if you can get it under homeowners insurance. I pay $290 for a year. Hope that helps.

Wow that was sure a high quote by progressive. I also have progressive for just my atv insurance on my blaster and it is $96 a year. Somthing doesnt sound right with that quote unless it is the size difference between the two machines. That is full coverage and pays out I believe $10,000 medical. Dont quote me on that medical price I haven't read the coverage for a while but it is close.

StateFarm here in eastern Ohio is the cheapest. I pay $137 a year full coverage for 3 quads(2000 Scrambler 400 2x4, 2000 DS650 & 2000 E-Ton 50). He also does cross state lines, call info on a state farm in troy, oh and have him quote you.

I got a quote from an on-line company by the name of ATV-Line.com on a 660R. They quoted me a $495 premium(I'll have to take an ATV safety course...ohhh what a toughie!). The address is:

www.atv-line.com

P.S., having a father who is an insurance agent, it's always best to check with the writer of insurance on an auto or home first. You have NO chance of getting insurance on your quad if that's all you insure though a major company(State Farm, Pekin, Grange Mutual, etc.). It also helps to not have any accidents or tickets in the last three years(motorcycle or auto).

Has anyone posting in this thread even noticed the banner ad at the top that often advertises a company selling ATV insurance? It has a picture of a Blue Banshee, you can't miss it.
