Tranny squealing sound!!!
#1
Hey guys, just had a question that I would like your insight on. I've got an 06 400 auto and I noticed during the winter, and again yesterday while riding in the timber, that occassionally I'll get a pretty loud squeal from the tranny when I'm in low, stop, shift to high, and take off. I've still got some warranty left and was wondering if this is an issue I should have looked at or if there's any other theories.
I'm wondering if I'm trying to take off too soon/fast when I engage high and that's why it does it. It will only do it for a couple seconds and then stops. I've also noticed it when hitting the brakes hard and then taking off again.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

When you stop sudden the clutches don't react fast enough and allows some slack in the belt. When you take off the belt slips just a bit till the clutches catch up. Not really hurting anything unless you are doing it alot. TORK
